Meet Elizabeth

Meet Elizabeth!!!

Hello, all you paper lovers!  My name is Elizabeth.

I’ve been working part-time with The Scrapbook Store since December of 2005.  While I had been a customer long before then, I strolled in after a recent vacation to look for things to make an album.  Much to my delight, a “now hiring” sign hung in the window.  The rest is history!

My husband and I just celebrated our tenth anniversary this past December.

We have four (yes, FOUR!) little peeps.

I have made lifelong friends and have gone on many adventures with the store gals.  I love going on getaway weekends to scrapbook (although it just doesn’t seem to happen as much as I’d like)!   I have a room in our home dedicated to scrapbooking and tons of goodies that go along with it.  My daughter says it looks like a store, (SHHHHHH…don’t tell my husband ).    My go-to thing for inspiration is my computer, where I save hundreds (okay, probably thousands) of images of projects and layouts.  Besides a trimmer and adhesive, I couldn’t live without pop dots, glossy accents, twine, or my Tim Holtz tiny attacher.  I have a strange weakness for school related paper and embellishments.  I have an awful  lot of stuff from many different manufacturers.  I do love Bella (who doesn’t?!), Studio Calico, Elle’s Studio, Amy Tangerine & Dear Lizzy, from American Crafts.

Here's some of my work!

Other bits and pieces about me:
I LOVE to travel.
I’ve seen Dave Matthews Band 12 times in concert.
I have one sister.
My daughter is a cancer survivor.
I’ve been a vegetarian for over twenty years.
I check the national radar map every day for severe weather
(Storm Chasers, anyone?  LOVE!!)
It is definitely fun to come to “work” at The Scrapbook Store!  Being involved in such an amazing and inspiring place has been such a blessing.
Thanks for looking!  Hope to see you soon!!
