This tag was a favorite of mine from Tim Holtz’s 12 Tags, 2011.
You will need to trace a manila tag onto Glossy cardstock (Inkssentials) (the shinny side).
All of the stamped images are from the Christmas Memories set (Tim Holtz).
Using black Memento or black Archival ink, stamp the Santa image and the Merry Christmas word stamp onto glossy card stock (Inkssentials.)
Trim closely around the Santa and for the Merry Christmas, trim close around just the Merry and then the Christmas creating two pieces.
Distress the Santa using a blending tool and Festive Berries Distress Ink pad (TH) and around the Merry and Christmas images with Evergreen Bough Distress Ink pad (TH).
Distress the glossy tag with a blending tool and Broken China Distress Ink pad. Move around the edges first and repeat except keep moving further onto the tag until the entire tag is covered.
With the star/snowflake looking image from the same set (or your own star or snowflake stamp.)
Dab the image with Picket Fence Distress Stain and stamp randomly around the blue tag. Repeat inking with the Picket Fence Distress Stain after each time you stamp the image.
Adhere the Santa and Merry Christmas to the tag and add a tiny red or silver bell to the tip of Santa's hat with Glossy Accents. Add red and white Bakers Twine to the top of the tag.
